Dr. David Defoe, is married to his wife Denise, and is the proud father of a beautiful daughter, Dayna. He currently serves as the Relationship Ministries Director of the Allegheny East Conference, which includes ministry to Families, Couples, Men, and Singles. He has been serving as the Interim Pastor at Shiloh since March of 2023.  

 He has a Bachelors of Arts degree in English and Communications from Andrews University, a Master of Divinity degree (M.Div) from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland, a Doctor of Ministry degree in Family Ministries from Andrews University and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Regent.

Dr. Defoe is a licensed counselor, educator, pastor, and entrepreneur.  He is a creative, out of the box thinker, and progressive leader.  He believes his unique call in ministry is to live out the socially conscious Gospel of Jesus Christ which he believes, is providing comfort to the afflicted, and affliction to the comfortable.
